Tweaking Help Needed - New Products List

Hi All,

 

I have 2.2CVS (May 19 snapshot), and absolutely LOVE this product!!!!!

There is one thing that I cannot figure out how to tweak:

 

When one clicks on a category that has subcategories, the page that loads looks as follows:

 

-list of subcategories on top

-list of new products underneath that

 

Is there a way to instead of just showing new products in this section, to show all products, nicely paginated. This way one could look through all products in a parent category, without having to go through all subcategories...

 

There seem to be two things necessary to do this:

a) tweak the query to not just show new products

B) add the pagination ability (i.e. that it offers pages "2,3,4,... >>Next")

 

How could this be done?

Hi All,

 

Haven't heard back from anyone. :)

Let me therefore rephrase my question a bit simpler:

 

If I wanted to "just" add pagination to the "new products" box, how could I do that? (I.e., if I have the number of new products displayed set to 30, how could I paginate that, in the same way that the product list is paginated?)

 

I searched through hundreds and hundreds of topics and constributions, but couldn't find it anywhere...
