Strange Email errors using windows smtp

Greetings,

Well I wanted to get my new site online a couple of weeks ago, but I have a pesky problem with the email functions (which I positively need).

 

Situtation:

I can send email messages from the ADMIN side of the system with no problems (at least all of them that I have attempted to date).

 

While on the CATALOG side I can use the "send to a friend" and "send GV" features, but any emails regarding new account registration, password change/update, or checkout/order confirmation bomb with the following message:

 

Warning: Server Error in X:webrootvirtualhcmcatalogincludesclassesemail.php on line 527



Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at X:webrootvirtualhcmcatalogincludesclassesemail.php:527) in X:webrootvirtualhcmcatalogincludesfunctionsgeneral.php on line 28

 

I have gone through all of the files in the classes, functions, and any files that I thought might be relevant in the catalog and languages directories checking for "white space" using notepad. I did find a number of files and have removed the "white space", but still receive the same error at the same places. Is there a file somewhere that I could have missed (repeatedly) that would tie all of these occurrences together? :oops:
