ZeroAquaduct Posted May 23, 2003 Posted May 23, 2003 I have 2 stores installed on the same domain (1 for U.S. buyers and 1 for Canadian buyers). Everything works fine. However, I have a problem with my PayPal IPN module. Since I have 2 stores and only 1 PayPal account, I can't use PayPal IPN for both stores. Is there any way to solve this besides getting a 2nd PayPal account? Unfortunately PayPal doesn't let me have 2 premier/business accounts, so that could be a problem. Quote
Guest Posted May 24, 2003 Posted May 24, 2003 Yes paypal alolows 2 premier accounts - all you have to do is set up another account. The next time someone pays you with a credit card it will ask you to convert that account to premier and voila. I have 2 business accounts and they told me that was ok. Quote
ZeroAquaduct Posted May 24, 2003 Author Posted May 24, 2003 I did some more searching and I finally found what I'm looking for. It looks like I should be able to have multiple IPN notify URLs. The only problem right now is: how the heck do I do that? Here's the link that I found: http://www.paypaldev.org/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=30 BTW, I'm using Loaded 5. Thanks. Quote

Hmm, the lady told me I can't have 2 premier/business accounts, only 1 personal and 1 premier/business. I called the customer service number on their site. Who did you contact? I have a Canadian account, so maybe that's the reason? Quote
ZeroAquaduct Posted May 24, 2003 Author Posted May 24, 2003 OK, I emailed Pablo and I got my answer. So for those of you who want to know, the PayPal IPN contrib can automatically send the notification URL to PayPal. Just make sure the notification URL is correct in your PayPal IPN contrib, and leave the one in your PayPal account blank. Then you should be all set for IPN (for multiple sites). Thanks to Pablo for helping me out! 8) Quote
Guest Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 I don't remember her name but waht happened was I had a business and a personal account. Someone sent me a payment that used a credit card. When I logge din the payment was there along with the option ot upgrade to premier account ( only way to accept the payment) I clicked yes and ended up with 2 premier accounts. I called Paypal a few days later when I noticed the status change because I thought only 1 was allowed, I was told that it was Ok to have 2 which has now been the cae for pver a year and no worries. You could also setup one account with strictly your business info if your company is a LLC or incorporated or registeredin you country - all I had to do was send proof. Quote
