MESSED UP SHIPPING MODULES

I am a newbie in OSCommerce, so this could be just a dumb question, but I need to use two different tables in the shipping module, one for deliveries within the city, and other for deliveries within the country.

 

I've understood that the zone stuff in the shipping module works just to country level. Maybe I am wrong about that.

 

I coppied table.php to table2.php in both directories /includes/modules/shipping

and /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

 

Then I changed all "table" to "table2" in both table2.php, and adequated the text.

 

Finally in the administration module admin-modules-shipping I was able to see two "table" categories, but sharing the same name, and finally just tried to leave things as the beginning, I just erased both "table2.php" and then when trying to make a sale, at the point to the shipping options, got a big mistake about this files missing.

 

So the questions are: is it possible to have two tables?

The method I followed was completely wrong?

How do I erase a shipping module? For the system now it is necessary to have this two table2.php files.
