MreSailor Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 I'm trying to use the restore function in admin to restore a 19meg sql file that the osC backup function created. When I hit restore (the restore under the mysql command line example) I get a 'page cannot be displayed' error. Anyone know what's wrong? I can't run command line mysql because I don't have a shell account on our secure server and phpmyadmin times out. I'm running a development mirror on a separate machine and do my edits there, the mirror software updates the production box pages that have been changed. Now I'm trying to set up a 'mirror-like' senario for the database as well. Any ideas?
Guest Posted May 22, 2003 Posted May 22, 2003 If PhpMyAdmin is timing out, so will osC.... if you have access you can set max_execution_time in php.ini.... but, 16 megs is a huge db file - the only solution I have seen is to split the file..... dunno about your browser error...
MreSailor Posted May 22, 2003 Author Posted May 22, 2003 Good point, we're 2 weeks or so from a dedicated server guess I'll just have to deal with it until I can get shell access again.
