Sales Report 1.2 Error - NEED ASSISTANCE!

I am getting the following error after installing the contribution Sales Report 1.2. I have followed the instructions by the book to no avail because when it gets clicked on in the ADMIN area I get this error:

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /home/pantherp/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /home/pantherp/public_html/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 13

Probably a compatibility issue.... the contribution may not be up to date with the version of osC you are running... the function tep_db_connect() is being called twice within the same process....
