Re: problem with confirmation e-mail

i am using the paypal module and all is well if after the user makes his payment, they return to my site.


but, it seems if after the user makes his payment at paypal, but does not return to my site, then their are no e-mails sent and the orders are not comitted to the db.


the reason i say this is, because i get paypal payment confirmation e-mails, but no records of orders, either via e-mail or in db. thus have to e-mail customer asking for order details.


any suggestions on avoiding / eliminating such situations would be helpful.

then you will find several discussions on just this issue.


A search of *Paypal*IPN* would probably also work.


Make sure you use the "*", or the search may not work.
