Not working in IE

Hi,

 

I have installed and everything went fine. But it is not working properly with IE.

 

Installed it on LINUX.

Could any please tell me whats the problem. Is it with my IE.

 

Adn what about admin facility for the application.

Seems to work ok from here with IE

I am on IE for OSX and I get:

 

1046 - No Database Selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

Hey i just had that problem its because you set up your files wrong in the installation.php. after you set everything up you shouldnt have any errors, at all.

What you have done most likely cause this was my problem and i got the same error is that you did not upload your admin directory inside the catalog directory, and if you did you did not give the admin catalog the proper permissions.

So you have to set everything up to reflect that such as remove /catalog/ from in front of the name you gave your admin folder as of now it says /catalog/admin when it should say /admin/ see what i mean. I guess it would have been easier to just reupload the admin directory inside the catalog or move it but why bother just re-upload the install folder onto your server and run it again. This time make sure all the correct files have been chmod-ed to 706 or 777 (including the one they dont mention in your admin folder its the includes/configure.php) once you do that it should work just fine.

 

That how i got those errors to go away.
