julie_smith123 Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 Ive installed my catalog and it works fine now (it took a while, with alot of help from you guys) Recently I also installed a forum and I think I changed the password on mysql database Now each time I try and connect to athe admin pages I get : Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /usr/local/home/httpd/vhtdocs/xdvdr/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /usr/local/home/httpd/vhtdocs/xdvdr/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! But the catalog pages work finw. I assume this is happening because of the password change. How can I change password in my oscommerce admin directory ?

topher2u2 Posted June 8, 2003 Posted June 8, 2003 I had the same issue and found that I also needed to edit admin/includes/configure.php. Once I changed my password in this file I was able to access admin again. Chris
