Options trouble :(

I am a Spanish girl and pardons my horrible dominion of ingles, I'm sorry.

 

I have an trouble with the products options. I need for my store I have enough products that when changing of model the price changes. But as it is of the same product I want to put a photo single. My problem arises with the prefix. I put modelo1, that is the greatest size to 60? and I put the sample photo, then I create options for modelo2 within this product, is left thus modelo2 medium price 40? so large, I do not put ningun prefix and even so in box it leaves the price to me 60? more 40?. I what I want it is a way that the price of producto2 replaces at the cost of producto1. I have proven it everything and it always leaves to me that or it is added or is reduced and only I want please that replaces it, if somebody could help me would thank for it enormously.

 

Perhaps it is necessary to modify the code but I not to become it :( I wait for some answer, thanks

to state it clearly:

you have ONE product with price A

then you add option for size ... with price B...

... but want price B just to be difference to price A and not total addition

 

now the solution:

use a calculator and calculate the price-difference!

 

options always add a difference or subtract a difference

 

model1

-> type (default) A = 100 ?

-> type B = 120 ?

-> type C = 98 ?

 

then you add a product named "model1" and assign it a price of 100

then you create options...

 

the FIRST option that you create is "A (normal/default)" with price = 0!

then you add option B with 20?

....
