spofster Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 On my local machine my local host url to my site is to: c:/program files/easyPhp/www/Preprimary.com and i have a shopping cart installed. I have the catalog folder inside the .../www/Preprimary.com/catalog folder. With the admin folder inside it. Is this correct way to do it? ___________________________ I also want to move my site to the localhost on a linux box. I unfortunately dont have a clue where to begin. The reason for wanting to do this is so i can test the shopping cart etc..for uploading the site.
mattice Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 If you have your OWN linux box you can check what the directory is where Apache (webserver) expects the sites to be... (DocumentRoot in httpd.conf, Apaches ini file) Once you know that it is simply a matter of getting the files all inthere and change the configure.php (admin + catalog) accordingly.
