mhunter Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 I am planning on using verisign payflow link with my os commerce shopping cart app, (which by the way I think is an awesome app - once you find the wiki docs) :) The modules have listed other cc processors...so I'm slogging around trying to figure out where to put the payflow code that will link to them. I can hang on to my customer variables before I ship off to them - or get them on the way back, according to their docs. Has anyone used verisign payflow link before with OSC? Or would you suggest an easier way to go as far as configuring OSC with a cc processor. Thanks in advance
M@rcel Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 You could try to find a suitable module in the contributions-section. The link is in my sig. Greetings from Marcel |Current version|Documentation|Contributions|
mhunter Posted June 5, 2003 Author Posted June 5, 2003 Greetings I have successfully completed a test purchase with verisign payflow link after intstalling Verisign Payflow Link w/ CSC validation. 1. What is CSC validation ? 2. The cc # is entered on our site then passed to verisign. Because of this - we need to buy a secure server certificate. Is the alternative to this is for the user to enter the cc#, and everything else, on the verisign site ? 3. With this last scenario, I guess we loose more control, and it looks a little cheesier (at least to me). Any enlightenment is appreciated.
rubygirl Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 if your domain is setup on its own IP - then getting the SSL for the domain would be best - more professional .... just my 2 cents....
jdawes Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I am testing payflow link using the australian version of verisign, things seem to be going well and I was able to setup a simple form, now to the oscommerce integration. The error that is returned is Data Entry Error Please correct the following errors. Entry Value Description USER2 18c444392ff521d5119a65e5360e227c Please use (1-31) characters From the install doc I understand user2 to be = rest of osC session id string First, what is that? An does anyone know what I edit or do to include that? From the install doc it seems that that value should be setup. However the error occurs. I have the dem install running on http://payflow.ozhome.net/catlog/default.php BTW The australian version of payflow link is at https://payments.verisign.com.au/payflowlink which I edited into the config file. Any ideas? Jeremy Dawes
