Decius Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Hi there, I did a search but couldn't find anything to aid me on this. I have a movie site that sells movies, and all the movies are available in DVD, VHS and PAL format. I know I can manually go to each movie and add the attributes but this is not a realistic option since there are hundreds of movies. Is there a way to make each product have the same attributes? For example, DVD format would be 7 dollars more no matter what. Thanks.
Ajeh Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 The Shoppe Enhancement Controller v1.0 or v1.0a has the ability to copy attributes from one product to another or one product to a category of products. You can test it out at: Catalog: http://www.8thoctave.com/osc_freecall Admin: http://www.8thoctave.com/osc_freecall/admin Download information is available at: [urlhttp://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=170511#170511[/url]
Decius Posted May 20, 2003 Author Posted May 20, 2003 Hi there, Thanks for the info but I want to eliminate the manual aspects of it altogether. By default every product will have these options, so I was wondering if there is a way to automate it, or maybe add a field in the products ordered table or something.
Ajeh Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Set it up to auto create the attributes on creation of new products.
