Quantum Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 Hi everybody, I'm driving myself crazy with this SSL stuff.. :onfire: Which are the pages of the project that recall a SSL connection if you setup that you want SSL during the installation? All of them? some?? I have problems with the checkout and login pages, but I'm checking some the online shops and they do not have a SSL connection when I call those pages... My question is do this shops are not using SSL connection, which I found really dangerous :bomb: , or my problem is located somewhere else??? Please advice, best regards Quantum Even if you're in the right track you will get run over if you just sit there.
Guest Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 depending on the version of osc you are using and the payment methods you are using will dictate what is and is not under ssl for ms1 and later, the account creation/login and all checkout pages are normally under ssl if someone is using only paypal or something similar for payment, they may not be using ssl at all, but if you are using authorizenet or other real time gateways, then you certainly want to be using ssl
Quantum Posted May 21, 2003 Author Posted May 21, 2003 Thanks for your answer, I've already found them, yesterday was a hard but productive day... Anyway I have opened a new question: About SSL and apache 2.0, is there any possibility to use only one IP number to manage multiple virtual hosts under SSL or do I have to use one IP per virtual host under SSL since SSL virtual host configuration is IP-based and not named-based??? Any help? Thanks Quantum Even if you're in the right track you will get run over if you just sit there.
