Hi everyboy,

I'm new with OsCommerce so I'm sure that maybe I just forgot something  ... I installed oscommerce and everything seems find, just when I'm trying to open certain pages I have no response from the server... maybe this is because I activated the SSL feature? For instance I cannot access the account page, I cannot checkout... I can browse the products, insert them into my cart, change language, change currency etc... but when it gets to those pages nothing... In IEx/Winx no response at all; under Mozilla/Linux it says that the connection with the serves is lost... What do I have to do? I tried to find information about SSL config under Apache 2.0 which is my web server but I cannot find clear information... If anyone can help!!!

Best regards,

You should have an SSL server running in order to be able to use SSL with osCommerce. How to build an SSL-aware Apache is beyond the support you'll find here I am afraid ;) A good source would be http://httpd.apache.org or perhaps you can do it with an Installation Kit which can be found on Hotscripts.com

Thanks for the info,

I was afraid this is why is not working, if fact I'm already working on it... but apache.org is not helping me a lot :( ... I'll search for some advice somewhere else too... If someone has a good link for how to configure apache SSL virtual hosts I will apreciate that...

Thans to all
