New products not displaying all new products

I changed the dates on all 1244 of my products to 5/1/2003 so they would all show up as new products in the new products box, but I'm only seeing the same 8 or 10. It should be more or less a random pick. Help?!

Check how large your random setting is for New Products

Can't find a setting for that...can't search for it either since a search containg 'products' won't work on here...

Look in the Admin under Maximum settings.
