americamba Posted May 18, 2003 Posted May 18, 2003 Amigos,Friends, I will have my store in Spanish and I assume the software is the same so I am using this forum because I know English better. HOpe you can help. I downloaded the directories: tep_admin-pr2.1 AND tep_catalog-pr2.1. I sent them by FTP to my server; I created the backup directory; I have my database ready. Next, I tried to execute the script but I got the following error message: HTTP 404 - File not found Internet Explorer. And it's true: there is no install.php file in myserver.com/catalog/install So Itried it again. I deleted everything. Now i have the downloads both as zip and as tar and can use either one. But before FTPing them I want to be sure (because it is a pain to delete all of them from the server) The guide makes reference (permisions table) to: /admin/includes/configure.php AND /catalog/includes/configure.php... But I can't find the file configure.php neither in /admin/includes nor in catalog/includes. So I want to know what did I do wrong. Why don't I have the files I am supposed to have?
