someone told me there is a related site where i can practice installing osC using that sites server facilities. I am not able to find it. Does anyone know about such a site?

It may have had something to do with wiki.???

I don't have a suitable hosting account to practice as yet but keen to learn about osC.

thx

You can set up your own local computer as a webserver and practice on it... search for my post on EasyPHP....

There are so many posts regarding this particular subject, I have searched for a long time. Would you mind sending me a link or posting the information again? Thanks so much! :)

Search found 85 matches

That shouldn't be very many to look through.

Thank you for your comment, nonetheless, I do not find it important enough to argue with someone who insists on being rude.

From now on, I will be ignoring your posts. Perhaps the moderator won't though.

Sorry if you're too lazy to look through a few posts to find the answer. Would you like someone to spoon feed it to you?

You can cut down the number to search through by searching by author as well as keywords.

Does anyone know a simple windows program to let you do this? Allow a simple server just for editing purposes???? I've setup a linux server before but don't need all of that confusion. let me know with links ! none of this bickering about searching over and over. I just want the simple basics that anyone has used before !

thanks to all who help

The reason I said to look for my post was because there is useful information there... if you don't care to search for it (I would have to to find it for you!) then I shall help you no further...

I find its a good way to narrow down the search for anything if I get too many results, or if they have Qs but not As. Add the name of the person most likely to have answered! Of course, you have to have already read a lot of posts to know who that might be.
