Customize OSC to match current storefront

Hello, I am in need of a shopping cart with more features than my current one offers, but am afraid that if I switch to osCommerce, I won't be able to keep the same look of my website (www.erbalenergy.com). I don't want to scare off my return customers with a massive revision to the site. Is this possible, and how would I begin this process?

Thanks,

Matt

i think that if you put some time in it, it wont be that hard to change oscommerce to let it look like you have your cart now.

just download it, try some stuff and mess with the stylesheet.

good luck! zlack

I'm doing the same thing with my OSCommerce. I'm going to keep my site the same way it is and just link to ...../catalog when the person is ready to buy. Basically, I've stripped it down and made it more of a 'cart' than a 'site', just a very important part of the overall site. You just have to customize everything with this in mind. But what I've been glad to find, (in the total of 5 days that I've been working with it) is that it's so customizable, you can make it very much what you want, as much or as little. Of course it helps to know some code, which I don't, but I've been muddling through. Good luck working with this great system!
