Telling the customer how much they are saving-any ideas?

Hi,

 

I am looking to do something I have seen on lots of sites but have no idea how to do it. The idea is pretty simple. For each product I will already have a Recommended Retail Price and then have My stores Price and then I would want to show the customer howe much they will save in currency or percentage. Any ideas how to show the customer saving?

Its just a little math... take a look at my Max Order contribution to get an idea on how you may work on your shopping cart total.... the equation is in the language file.... you would define a variable for your recommended retail total and subtract your cart total from this.... my mod checks a user's credit limit from the database, but the way its done would be similar..... :shock:
