paganini Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 Hi again everyone, I am about to change webhosting companies and want to take my OScommerce site with me. Now I have made a backup of the database and downloaded all the files in admin and catalog. Can someone please tell me what I have to change and change them to, once I have uploaded all of the admin and catalog files so as to get my OScommerce site working on my new server. Do I need to make a new mySQL database? I am also going from a HSphere cpanel to cpanel 6. Thanks everyone, really appreciate all of your help Todd
fsiano Posted May 17, 2003 Posted May 17, 2003 I would say that you would have to make a new database, user and password. Then go into configure.php in both the catalog and admin and change the info manually. that is how I do it. maybe there is an easier way. good luck Frank S
