can we add another catalog that is a remote db connection?

Can we use this program to tie into a remote database? And if yes, can we incorporate two databases (one local, one remote) into this program thus creating two different catalogs?

If anyone knows I would really appreciate it.

i suppose you'll want to investigate the SQL create VIEW function ... but no bet on mysql or current shop... distributed databases are something for well DB-educated people as you can run into lots of problems.
