Leasing Function?

Does anyone know if there's a contrib or easy way to implement leasing as a payment method? I've looked through the contrib section but couldn't find anything.

 

I was thinking of modifying the cheque/money order payment module to do a simple calculation like $lease_amount = $order_total x $lease_rate but if someone already has done such I thing I'd like to know before I dig in to the code.
