What is the best way to integrate phpBB with OSC?

The subject line says it all. What is the most effective way to integrate the phpBB 2.x bulletin board system with OSC? I assume that there is a contribution that covers this, but I have no idea which contribution to use. --- Or perhaps there is a module from phpBB that relates to this matter.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My honest opinion, I wouldn't even try to have one account with the two packages... (even if there were a contribution)

the look and feel can very easily be made to look the same...

Ps; Just my opion

to have a board that looks like the osc, as I said it is nice and very easy to do and it looks nice too

I was talking about having the two with ONE account... (in case is that what you are refering)

In my opinion if I (or if that matter anyone) going to shop online, don't bother about the board, in actual fact I personally think that a shop shouldn't have a board but a live support box (there is a contribution) and again if the shopping is technic shopping which need advice..

Anyway, this is my opinion. don't take it as advice..

Good Luck

Salvo,

Thanks. That was a very informative thread. It will take some study, but it points me in a direction that will be educational and, I hope, useful.

How did http://www.l4leather.com/ get the PHPbb2 forum to show up in the same Oscommerce window on a different page rather than opening in a separate window?

I have successfully set up a link on my Oscommerce main page and the forum is working great. I would be very happy to keep everything as is except the part where the forum opens up in another window. I would like to keep the customer in the same oscommerce window.
