moving test to live shop

I experience problems moving a testshop to it's final location when it's set up.

 

I install a shop at it's final server and move the configure.php files and .htaccess

files to *.bak

 

Then I move all the files of the local installation to that server.

Then I make a dump of the set up sql - database wit drop table enabled and load all

that tables to it's new db server into the existing db.

 

Then I restore the original config.php and .htaccess files to their original version.

 

Now I'd expect that stuff to run as smooth as it did at home.

 

Any objections? Or did I miss something?

make sure that the config files have the new name/password/database etc.

 

I once forgot to change them :-)
