Fedex shipping -- shipping per Item based on weight

My fedex module is installed and working properly. The only problem that I have is that my shipping is calculated like this:

 

Shipping for one item, comes up like this:

Federal Express (1 x 48lbs) 

Ground Service         =            $72.62

 

if 2 items are selected, this comes up:

Federal Express (1 x 96lbs) 

Ground Service      =           $100.96

 

Is there any way to make it calculate the shipping like this?:

Federal Express (2 x 48lbs) 

Ground Service         =         [b]$145.24 [/b]

 

or maybe like this:

Federal Express (1 x 48lbs) 

Ground Service         =            $72.62 



Federal Express (1 x 48lbs) 

Ground Service         =            $72.62

Total = $145.24

 

Is this possible? or do I need a different shipping module?
