basic shopping

Hi there

Sorry to bother you with an unrelavent question. I know basic HTML and javascript. I want to learn how to use a shopping cart (I know nothing at the moment). My domain host pointed me here but this is quite a bit more complicated than I want at the moment. All I want to start off with is to be able to click on a 'add to cart' button next to a products description and then check out where you fill in your name etc. and it gets emailed throught to me. It can't be this complicated. Can someone please point me to where I can find info on doing simple stuff like this.

For utter simplicity, you probably want something like PayPal's free shopping cart elements, which are so easy to implement that it can be done from PayPal's website. You, of course, need to have a PayPal account (free).

 

OSC is lightning in a bottle; if you can learn enough to be able to handle file transfers, basic file manipulation, and some other key skills, you'll not go wrong with it.
