Ajeh Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp. Sessions will not work until this directory is created. You are missing the directory for the session. Try editing your /includes/configure.php file and set: define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'

liebhabe Posted June 11, 2003 Posted June 11, 2003 I am having the same problem with blank 'account.php' and shopping cart pages, however I tried the above fix with no results. This problem also occurs when attempting to add an item to the shopping cart or anything like that. The action is actually occuring, but the page comes up blank. Frustrating 4 day problem!!!! This is the exact address bar line when I try to access account.php: https://martinique.globat.com/~compcoach.co...8b032d4e05b0cda The non SSL is http://www.compcoach.com/shop It seems that the problem only exists when there is a transition from the non SSL to the SSL server. Is this an issue? Thanks for any help. -------------------------- Will Liebhaber

Mine was caused by modifying files and putting them in the wrong directory. For example: the checkout_shipping.php file in the catalog subdirectory is only 2 kbites. The checkout_shipping.php file in the english subdirectory is about 20 kbites. I copied the modified files to the wrong directory, and got blank pages. Chuck

ozcsys Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I have the same problem, I cant create account and other things. i dont understand the solution <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A link would help but usually when your create account and cart are not working it is a ssl problem. If you do not have a ssl certificate installed then you need to set ssl to false in both your configure.php files. If you do have one then you need to make sure that the configure.php files have the correct https: defines. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
