Please see if my store is up to snuff

My last store was a Miva Merchant shop. I had the latest stuff and it seemed adequate. Now that I have changed ISP's, I see that I had my head in the sand. My new ISP is much faster and OSC is great. I want to thank everyone that posted in these forums for their info.

I have tried to include all the things I think I will need to make a shopper happy but still I am sure it needs somethings that your experienced eyes can direct me to include.

 

If you have the chance, could you please look at my store and tell me if you think I am missing anything that a customer might want to see in a store?

 

I appreciate any input, good or bad. I want to have a great store.

Problem with the light orange background is that the images show up as blocks. Why not go with a white background so that the images blend in a little bit better?

Well in that case why not use transparent .gif's or add a fine line border to each image thru the css?

If you can, don't show the no. of votes variable in the poll box, unless you have over 100 or so votes
