Hi I am new to Os and have a few questions I will be selling software by download only so no shipping is required

I have set up the catalogue

then gone to Products Attributes

and set them as download with the file name of the location of the download

I was expecting that once some one has paid it would re-direct them to the download page I have tried this with 01cent Item via PayPal and it does not work

Any Idea's on what I have done wrong ??

Hi,

Did you setup the download in the product attributes section and also in the configuration section?

When they checkout on the last page at the bottom is a download link after this is setup.

Thanks for your help

one last question

the file name I have listed in the product atrubutes looks like

www.mysite.com/product.zip

After checkout the files are listed but where it says download links

I cannot click onto them ie:

Download links

Software Number 9999999 Link expires: Thursday 22 May, 2003 5 downloads remain.

Software 88888 Link expires: Thursday 22 May, 2003 5 downloads remain

The above links are not clickable to download the files have I done something wrong with the Products Attributes

any idea

Thanks

If I copy the url http://www.sankesolutions.co.uk/catalog/do...p/order/31/id/3

and paste it straight into the browser it let me download the file atleast 5 times ?

I understand that the option to set maximum downloads is set up in admin.

So I could in theory email the url to someone else after I have used it or is there a cookie stored somewhere that stops another machine getting it.

Thank you again
