M4 Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Hi I am new to Os and have a few questions I will be selling software by download only so no shipping is required I have set up the catalogue then gone to Products Attributes and set them as download with the file name of the location of the download I was expecting that once some one has paid it would re-direct them to the download page I have tried this with 01cent Item via PayPal and it does not work Any Idea's on what I have done wrong ?? Guest Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 Hi, Did you setup the download in the product attributes section and also in the configuration section? When they checkout on the last page at the bottom is a download link after this is setup.
M4 Posted May 15, 2003 Author Posted May 15, 2003 Thanks for your help one last question the file name I have listed in the product atrubutes looks like www.mysite.com/product.zip After checkout the files are listed but where it says download links I cannot click onto them ie: Download links Software Number 9999999 Link expires: Thursday 22 May, 2003 5 downloads remain. Software 88888 Link expires: Thursday 22 May, 2003 5 downloads remain The above links are not clickable to download the files have I done something wrong with the Products Attributes any idea Thanks Martin

pegweb Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003 If I copy the url http://www.sankesolutions.co.uk/catalog/do...p/order/31/id/3 and paste it straight into the browser it let me download the file atleast 5 times ? I understand that the option to set maximum downloads is set up in admin. So I could in theory email the url to someone else after I have used it or is there a cookie stored somewhere that stops another machine getting it. Thank you again
