Adiemus Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I didn't change anything but some time ago there are a message appears on the top of my site (www.letolie.ru) Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp/php-sess) is not within the allowed path(s): (/pub/home/letolie8:/usr/local/lib/php) in /pub/home/letolie8/htdocs/includes/application_top.php on line 441 Warning: The sessions directory does not exist: /tmp/php-sess. Sessions will not work until this directory is created. Why can it be? and how i can fix it? PLEASE HELP
davidstummer Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 if you create a folder called tmp right at the document root, ie in the same directory as the www.letolie.ru folder. try this. if it still doesnt work, create another folder in the tmp folder and call it php-sess sorry if you have done this already if you already have these it could be a permission problem
