taxes are wrong calculated

I'm setting up oscommerce at home at localhost where I do alot of experiments.

I also got a fresh installation at an isp without modifications so far for crosschecking between original and modified setup.

 

Today I realised that a test product with a net prize of 51,-- and tax of 16% (germany) showed up with 56.28 instead of 59.16.

So I thougth I shot something on my local installation but then I found out that it's even the same on the unmodified installlation!!

 

Any suggestions?

Since I couldn't believe that the script can't calculate tha tax riight I found out what was wrong.

 

There was still a exchange rate for Euro :) as the only currency

 

So one Euro counted approx 1,33 actuallly. Strange world :)
