CVS in images sub-folder

I installed a new store that works fine

However here is my question/finding

I can add/del/create categories, subcategories and products

For each new category I have created a subdirectory for my new products pictures in images

 

Assuming that the oscomm will not self-generate in the new product?s image subdirectory the products? images CVS? directory

 

And since it works fine do I need a CVS directory in each newly created images sub directory as the OsComm demo has?

I suppose the answer shall be NO if I am the only sitedeveloper ?
