1.FTP to your website download your entire catalog. (backup to your hard drive)

2.Backup your database using your mysql admin program save to your hard drive. (backup to your hard drive)

3. FTP #1 to your new server (restore backup)

4. using your myusql admin install your database on the new server!

5. change your configure.php files in admin and catalog with the correct information.

6.Run the store!

Done

Create an index.html or htm file to keep people from looking at your image files. I can look at your files in catalog/includes/configure.php

Fix that too!

PM me if you need more help!

Look fine to me!

When you click on "Mein Konto" a security alert pops up asking if we want to "display the nonsecure item?

What it looks like to me is that your backup (admin php files) has an error(s) in it. :( Download the /admin from your old server again.

Thomas

PS. This has happened to me a couple of times... :)

Thanks thomas

Now that I set a user and password for my admin for testing. I can have you look at the problem. The are 186 orders in my mysql but there are not being shown in the admin part.

username: demo

password: 1234

The problem I'm having is that whenever I try to download the entire store through FTP, somehow the connection gets losts (maybe by the numerous files?) and it's too much work to download folder by folder trying to keep the same structure..

Is there another way to backup the store entirely?

thanks very much.
