Qwackmaster
Hey friends. I used the CPanel/Fantastico auto-install feature to load up OSC. Worked like a freakin' dream and was installed in about 1 minute!!! Now I'm thinking I might want to install in the root directory instead, so that when you visit "mydomain.com" OSC is the very first thing you see. Should I delete everything and just doa fresh install? Simply move all the folders/files into the root directory? What's my best cause of action? Thanks! tbudzich
You should be able to just upload the files to the root dir, then adjust your parameters to point to the new location. I think you could run the setup agian as an "upgrade" to change the configuration parameters. If not, you could edit the configuration manually. If I recall there should be a configuration.php file for the catalog, and one for the admin. -Ted
Qwackmaster
That's what I thought. I'd rather just move the files and then make the necessary config.php adjustments. I'm searching this board and wiki right now to figure out what those settings are. Any tips? :D You've tried to philosophize your pain but the hurt's in your heart and not in your brain
