Guest Posted May 6, 2003 Share Posted May 6, 2003 just started with loaded 5 version, starting to put in products, the page calls for category name, category heading title, category descrition , and sort order, is this the info for the mega tags and what is the sort order ? The names are what they are: category name of course is the name of the category :) heading title is the title that displays before Internet Explorer (if that's what you use, the stuff in between the <title> and </title> tags) Description is an area of text that can be displayed above the product listing in the selected category... like if I clicked "Teddy Bears" and you have red, yellow black and blue teddys as different products, above those products you could have a description "These are the finest crafted teddies in all of Mexico, available in a wide assortment of colors..." or whatever... - - - - Sometimes, ignorance is bliss. Guest Posted May 6, 2003 Share Posted May 6, 2003 Ralph, The "sort order" determines in what order the categories are displayed. The program default is to sort alphabetically. By changing (adding) numbers to the "sort order" you can control which category name is first, second etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
