Guest
Hi I need to make some changes to osCommerce but I have no idea on where to start. The changes are in the customer sign up process. I live in australia so our dates and addresses are entered differently. I would like to change the date to DD/MM/YYYY I would also like to change the address to Address 1 * Address 2 City * State * Postcode * How do I go about this? Please keep in mind that I am a complete novice with PHP and SQL. Any help would be appreciated!
orchard
You can change the order of the fields in the sign up process by editing includes/modules/account_details.php. It's basically an HTML table with some php mixed in. Just take sections starting with <tr> and ending with </tr> and move them around. The text labels of the fields can be changed by editing the defines in includes/languages/english.php. I think the date format can be changed there too, but I haven't tried it. In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
