sharing the image directorys

Hello,

 

my problem is: I installed two shops on my server, the two shops sharing the same databse, but have different domains. The only thing is, when I add a new product, than the Name and description shows in both shops, but only one shows the product image. Can I do something, that both shops use only one image directory for the product images?

does the images folder reside inside one of the shop folders or is it outside?

 

does the config file point to the image folder location correctly?

In moment I have two image folders, in each full installation (catalog with admin) path one:

 

xyz.de/catalog/images

 

and

 

abc.de/catalog/images

 

than I tried to change the configure.php in one of them pathes and tried to set the image path to the other domain, but than the image url has the domain name from first and the path from the second.. looks like

 

http://www.abc.de/xyz/catalog/images

 

Im sure.. I make it wrong :( - but perhaps Do you know what I must change in the configure.php and /admin/configure.php from one of the both shops?
