kruiser69 Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 i was just browsing my site and then out of nowhere i got this Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/dura/public_html/shop/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server! ?????
orchard Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 I think that means your hosting company has too many users connected to its SQL database server right now. In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
kruiser69 Posted May 5, 2003 Author Posted May 5, 2003 how easy is it to transfer my site to another host ???
orchard Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 Pretty easy. You just download it all from your current site and upload it to the new site. There will be 2 or 3 days when the change will be propagating throughout the world and some people will be going to your old site and some to your new site. After that everything should be fine. In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
kruiser69 Posted May 5, 2003 Author Posted May 5, 2003 Hey dude is this the first site u have done the arbuckle one ?
orchard Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 It's my first and only first osCommerce site. Why do you ask? My wife did the http://www.arbucklechurch.org main site in HTML and I recently switched to use PHP to take advantage of the include function for common code like the navigation bar on the left. You can probably tell I'm not a web designer. I'm actually a harware and software design consultant for the currently inert high tech companies in Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA, USA). In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
kruiser69 Posted May 5, 2003 Author Posted May 5, 2003 was just curious whether u started building that site is all...
