securing configure.php file

Should I be doing something more to secure my configure.php file since it contains my password and username info for the database?

With most other PHP/MySQL sites I build, I put a config file outside the web root and write and include for it.

Should I do this for the OSC config file?

Try entering the URL for your configure.php. You should get a 404 page not found error. I think this means your OK as far as someone getting it unless they hack into your FTP server.

In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around.
