drakonan Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 I would just like to add a 1 pixel image border to my products and category listing so that my white backgrounds don't like unprofessional with the offwhite box colors. (I tried change the box colors to white, but the site became too bright for my tastes, I still may change the outside color slightly... I'm not sure...) If anyone could give me a quick hint on how to do it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your time, Brandon - - - - Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
M@rcel Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Probably there are some hints in the documentation Greetings from Marcel |Current version|Documentation|Contributions|
Guest Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 You could do what I did here www.heavenlybodice.com which was to creat a frame in Photshop then just place it over the image and trim to suit.
drakonan Posted May 1, 2003 Author Posted May 1, 2003 That's a nice website. ;) (I'm talking about the format, layout, etc) I like the way it looks, but I was hoping I could get away with just modifying some "border" variable or something to add border without having to modify the pictures. The best i could tell, you made the border in photoshop and saved as a web image with border as part of the image... (I didn't spend too much time on the site, I wouldn't want the boss to come by while I'm looking at it LOL) I MAY have to put a border as part of the picture, but what I was after was a simple code mod that'd allow for borders... My pictures aren't that large and I'm going to website size efficiency.... Anyway, and M@rcel, thanks for the comment... I looked and didn't find anything... not what I was hoping for anyway... Maybe I missed it... It'd be REALLY nice if there was a search function tho. When you said "maybe" did you mean to imply that you'd seen it there? Or did you automatically assume that the FIRST place I went was the forums? If it was the first, could you link me to it? Thanks both of you guys for your help, and freerap, are you making any money yet? OR is this just a site you've designed for another? - - - - Sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
