W3C validation - no attribute "BORDER" - where?!?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've been editing my default page (and others) so my pages can validate as HTML 4.01 Transitional.

Its coming up with one error:

there is no attribute "BORDER"
on line 140, which looks like this:
...lish/images/buttons/button_quick_find.gif" border="0" alt="Quick Find"...

Does anyone know where i can get rid of this attribute "BORDER"?

You can find it at

in the file html_output.php

in function

function tep_image_submit

on the line

$image_submit = '<input type="image" src="' . tep_parse_input_field_data(DIR_WS_LANGUAGES . $language . '/images/buttons/'. SITE_THEMA . '/' . $image, array('"' => '"')) . '" border="0" alt="' . tep_parse_input_field_data($alt, array('"' => '"')) . '"';

change " border="0" alt=" to " alt="

and then validate again!
