Easy Populate contrib problems

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have installed the EasyPopulate contrib. I can download the complete products file, however I cannot upload the same (unchanged) text file. I get the following error:

1054 - Unknown column 'products_mimage' in 'field list'

Not sure whats wrong here--maybe its just too late and I need to quit for today :?

Any help is appreciated....

Figured I would give you an update.

Just got this issue with Easy populate solved.

Used version 2.52 instead of 2.53. I following the instructions in the following post.

http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php...r=asc&start=160

I did as you suggested and discovered that i had to comment out these lines 1569 - 1577

Quote:

// $query .=

// '" ,products_mimage="'.$v_products_mimage.

// '" ,products_bimage="'.$v_products_bimage.

// '" ,products_subimage1="'.$v_products_subimage1.

// '" ,products_bsubimage1="'.$v_products_bsubimage1.

// '" ,products_subimage2="'.$v_products_subimage2.

// '" ,products_bsubimage2="'.$v_products_bsubimage2.

// '" ,products_subimage3="'.$v_products_subimage3.

// '" ,products_bsubimage3="'.$v_products_bsubimage3;

Actually the lines were already //'ed out from the 2.52 download. I just split my file and ran the uploaded split files with great success. With 2.53 I was getting the same error messages as you were, but they are now gone and even updates to the database work great.

Thanks to Tim Wasson for saving me a ton of time.

I sure appreciate your efforts. :D
