File Manager - Fatal Error

marcus

Recommended Posts

I just did a new install of osCommerce. Everything is working (as far as I can tell) but the File Manger gives this error:

Warning: OpenDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/httpd/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/catalog/admin/file_manager.php on line 175

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/httpd/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/catalog/admin/file_manager.php on lines 176

Line 175 and 176 are:

    $dir = dir($current_path);

   while ($file = $dir->read()) {

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this problem?

Check that the path shown by the error is correct:

httpdocs/catalog/admin/file_manager.php

Is your admin folder inside your catalog folder?

Did you check that the file is actually there?

$current_path must be set to an invalid value. What do you have for DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT in admin/includes/configure.php?

In olden times the men were made of iron and the ships were made of wood; now it's the other way around. :wink:

Thanks orchard--that was it.

The reason that was blank was because during the browser based install, when it was trying to create the mysql database, if i filled anything in the question it tried to find the create.sql file here for example:

/home/httpd/vhosts/site/httpdocs/catalog/create.sql/home/httpd/vhosts/site/httpdocs/catalog/create.sql

Which seemed strange. Is this a known bug?

Anyway, I forgot I had left that blank for that reason and that was what caused the problem.

Thanks again to everyone who had suggestions.
