Why is google still crawling my site?

Hi,

This may be a stupid question... Google bots 1-9 have been crawling my site now for almost a week. (www.ozarkbackwaters.com). I have the all prods page installed, and am generating tags based on the product page. Each one of the spiders from google is going through the site, seemingly several times. They have gone through it almost 24 hours a day for the week. Is this a bad thing? Is it stuck? Or is this just how it works? ask jeeves and fast just came through for about a day...

thanks

Michael

Do the links have SIDs?

Perhaps you should search the forum for "Google"

I have the sid killer installed... and havent seen any sids in the links that they pick up. Seems like each one gets on the site, looks at one page, and then leaves.... comes back on a few minutes later.... but with 9 of them working, they are there every 5-10 seconds all together

Don't worry, this is a good thing.

Expect to see this behavior about once a month.
