Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how can I modify the footer information?

In Includes/footer.php, there's this code:

<?php

/*

 The following copyright announcement can only be

 appropriately modified or removed if the layout of

 the site theme has been modified to distinguish

 itself from the default osCommerce-copyrighted

 theme.

 For more information please read the following

 Frequently Asked Questions entry on the osCommerce

 support site:

 http://www.oscommerce.com/community.php/faq,26/q,50

 Please leave this comment intact together with the

 following copyright announcement.

*/

 echo FOOTER_TEXT_BODY

?>

Where can I find FOOTER_TEXT_BODY and modify "Copyright ? 2003 osCommerce

Powered by osCommerce " to my own? Thanks.

I admit that searching through this forum is daunting at times, but believe me when I say the answer is out there for almost every question you have. I completed an entire installation from scratch without ever posting a question because they've all be covered.

Since it's Easter, I'm feeling extra generous: :wink:

The file you seek is /catalog/includes/languages/english.php, and I urge you to read the copyright warning that precedes the FOOTER_TEXT_BODY section. 8)

It is also a very simple matter to simply fire up your favorite text editor and do a global search for "FOOTER_TEXT_BODY" You'll find where it is called (as you have indicated) as well as where it is defined (as blisters has indicated).

My own opinion is that I hope you are planning to add your copyright and leaving the "Powered by osCommerce" part :)

[no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
