kelvin95 Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 Hi, I want to modify the menu bar. I have attached the image below. On the right of the bar, I want to remove E-books and add a new section with a new link called 'Programs'. Which file do I modify in oscommerce?
ArtcoInc Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 @@kelvin95 Which version of osCommerce are you using? That is not a stock menu bar. Malcolm
ArtcoInc Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 @@kelvin95 The current 'official' version is 2.3.4, but it is actually quite old. The current 'community' version is 2.3.4 BS Edge, which is responsive (useable on your phone, tablet, etc), and very modular (meaning, you can add or remove modules easily to set up your store as you want). Version 2.4 is in Beta, and should be released soon. If you are really on version 2.4, you have security issues that have been fixed in newer versions, and your store will crash if/when your host upgrades to a newer version of PHP. You really should consider moving your store to a more current version of osCommerce. Malcolm
♥raiwa Posted March 29, 2017 Posted March 29, 2017 Hello Kelvin @@kelvin95, Malcolm wanted for sure say 2.3 here in this line: If you are really on version 2.4, you have security issues... Then, as already pointed out, your picture shows a modified menu bar. It is most probably modified by a template or otherwise by a developer/coder. So it will be difficult for you to get help here in the forum. You should ask for help/support to the provider of the template or the coder/developer of this customized menu bar. Otherwise you should at least post the code of the menu bar, only the image doesn't give enough information. rgds Rainer About Me: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/user/249059-raiwa/ Need help?
