How do I change product view to list instead of grid?

Thanks for the reply, I did read it, but still confused on it. I just want list not grid at all. Wasn't there a module to do this in admin configuration at one point?

Hi Thomas.

 

If you just want list and not grid at all, all you need to do is turn off the "Grid List Javascript (jQuery)" header tag module in "admin->modules->header tags". This removes the grid/list button everywhere and all the product listings then default to list only.

 

If you only want to disable grid/list view option on specific pages then leave the module turned on and deselect the pages within the module settings that are already selected for grid/list view.

 

At least that's what happens in the latest BS EDGE version, not sure about earlier versions though.
