Product Attribute URL issue

Hi,

I have been having an issue with my product URLS can you help me figure out what can the issue be please-

The URLS such as
http://www.radhavall...7{29}163{30}168 (product with attributes)  redirect to index.php
and

Whereas http://www.radhavall...?products_id=40   (product only) Works perfectly

 

These URLS are generally used in modules like recover cart sale emails where the customer can click on the link and view the product with pre-selected attributes

Can someone please guide me on the issue
