Hi,

Thank you for your replies. I'm with V2.3. I 've been hacked. So I've deleted many codes. I can't remember exactly what I've done because it goes back to some months ago but now I decided to fix my website to run properly.

The main issue at the moment is the impossibility to make the checkout because the page comes blank. I can paste the script if it's necessary. Many thanks for your advices.

While it's possible to search for code that doesn't belong, and delete it, that's time-consuming and it's easy to overlook something (including new backdoor files the hacker added). I take it you don't have a good backup of your site's files to restore (and erase all the current files first)?

If you're really at osC 2.3.0, that's years out of date and way obsolete now. You should be at 2.3.4, or even better, the community-supported responsive version 2.3.4BS. The closer you are to current, the better security features are, and the lower the chances of being hacked (although, unfortunately, they're never totally eliminated). You'll be compatible with current PHP levels, too. You should remove all your files, to make sure nothing a hacker left behind remains, and do a fresh install. You can migrate your database step-by-step, or just compare its schema to the current version and manually update it in phpMyAdmin. Your product images of course can be copied over. Unfortunately, any add-ons and custom code changes you've made will have to be re-done.

How the hacker got in is something you should consider, or they may just do it again. Did you do stupid permissions, such as 777 on everything? In this day and age, there are still dumb people advising newcomers to do that. Maybe your host itself has poor security and you need to change hosts. Maybe there was a backdoor installed by a hacker in the very insecure osC 2.2, and you didn't bother to clean it out when upgrading. Lots of things could have happened, and if you simply clean out the current infection without trying to address the root cause, you'll probably soon be infected again.

My website was running very well. I'd many pages ranked 3 or 4 in google. I've the v2.3.4 and I never did the 777 permissions so don't know how the hackers operated but I've removed many codes and stopped some add ons such as my 'Live Chat' or my 'Caroussel'. I want secure my website but I need to fix my checkout first and I don't know how to do that. So it would be great if someone could help please.

osCommerce v2.3.4 is very secure, so your hackers probably exploited something you added, or they got in through your host's insecure server. You need to find out what happened or it will just happen again.

The blank page means there is an error somewhere on that page. it could be in the page file or in one of the files it includes. You need to look at your edits there and find the problem.
